The day-to-day running of the charity is undertaken by our Senior Management Team.
Chief Executive Officer - Mike Keel RGN RSCN
Mike joined Keech Hospice Care in 1998 to design and build the Children’s Service. Prior to this he spent 22 years in the Army Medical Services as a senior officer and on leaving at the end of his service went to lead the Children’s hospice in Cambridge. This gave him the necessary experience to set up the children’s hospice service in Luton. After this he was promoted to Deputy Chief Executive before taking on the role of Chief Executive in 2011.
People Director - Davina Harvey MA DPA
Davina joined Keech Hospice Care in September 2009 following a long career at the British Medical Association and the NHS (working within the hospital setting and also for a Strategic Health Authority).
As People Director, Davina is responsible for all the hospice employees and volunteers and has additional roles in managing the Facilities and Support Services teams.
Fundraising Director - Jacqui Shepherd
Jacqui joined the fundraising team at Keech in Dec 2005. Prior to this she has spent most of her working career in retail management, working both at Waitrose and Marks and Spencer in financial management. Jacqui took a career break before she joined Keech, but was very active in her local pre-school, fundraising for a new classroom! Jacqui was promoted to Fundraising Director in Oct 2010.
Finance Director - Ros Lewis ACA
Ros joined Keech Hospice Care in July 2009. She is a Chartered Accountant who qualified at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later transferred across to the charity sector where she has had 8 years of charity finance experience.
As Finance Director, Ros leads on the financial and IT requirements of the charity.
