7th July -These boots were made for walking

We have walked uphill for 6 miles - over 2200m. Monsoon rains came this morning so we had to abandon cars early as the roads were flooded. It was a fantastic effort by everyone though. We can't camp so are staying in this half built house with mud floors and no furniture. We are waiting for the horses to bring food and beers. Suspect the Shewee will be in action later as there is no water or toilets!
