VocaLink recently formalised their long-standing relationship with the signing of an official partnership agreement. VocaLink have offices local to Keech and a long record of volunteering and participation in activities and events in support of ourselves.
A regular VocaLink group have actively taken part in everything from our Santa Run and Give A Gift Campaign each Christmas, to an annual bike ride. Over the past five years, a team of willing VocaLink volunteers have cycled their way to fitness in this 30 mile fundraising event.
With the establishment of a formal partnership, what is happening next? Upcoming projects include VocaLink redecorating of one of the children’s bedrooms, as well as donating 35 VDU screens to replace the old ones we presently use in the offices.
Mark Chapman, Chairman of Corporate Social Responsibility at VocaLink said: ‘We have worked with Keech Hospice for a number of years as part of our CSR programme which looks to support and inspire young people. We have recently adopted a smarter way of working together by signing a two-year partnership agreement, which supports the fantastic work Keech Hospice do in our community.’
VocaLink continue to do more than supply goods and raise funds; volunteers provide plenty of hands-on assistance with ongoing projects.
VocaLink is also fielding a team at our much-anticipated ‘It’s A Knockout’ day at Luton Hoo in May 2012.
With so many joint activities happening now and in the Keech diary, we look forward to our ongoing and mutually beneficial partnership with our friends and supporters at VocaLink.
