The Karting Day will return on 7th July 2011 at the Daytona Race Track, Central Milton Keynes.
Boost your business performance with an endurance day on a premier race track and see if you can beat the 16 teams in 2010 that raised £1,100!
During this action packed afternoon, you'll be put through practice/qualifying sessions before choosing which of your drivers will start the 2.5 hour long endurance race.
From thereon, your team must decide how and when to make those important pit stops and speedy driver changes in the hope of claiming one of the trophies awarded to the first three teams to cross the finish line.
Because this race is as much about strategy as speed, it's a great way to enhance decision making skills, encourage teamwork and boost motivation. Ultimately, it will be a rewarding and fun day out!
Ready for the challenge?
The outdoor racetracks at Daytona are of an exceptional standard and all members of your team will get a chance to drive during the challenge. You require no previous experience or minimum fitness level to take part and your karting experience will be carried out under the watchful eye of the professionals at Daytona. Visit the
Daytona website for more information.
Prior to the race, team members will be fuelled up with a hot drink and bacon roll.
In addition, the person who clocks the fastest lap on the day will receive a special prize of unique signed F1 memorabilia (last year, this was a signed Jenson Button 2009 F1 champion cap)donated by BBC Formula 1 sports presenter, Jake Humphries.
