A really simple way of supporting us is through donating your used printer cartridges.
On average, each printer cartridge donated raises £1 for the hospices. It may not seem like much, but it soon adds up!
Donating your printer cartridges
Unfortunately we are no longer able to accept printer cartridges at the hospice reception or shops due to the large amount of non recyclable goods being dropped off.
Arrange a collection
If your business or group has a large amount of toners (20+) please contact our cartridge recycling partner , Think Cartridges, on 01234 856360 or email collections@thinkcartridges.com.
When they collect the cartridges they will give you a cheque they will hand you a cheque there and then for the value, which you can then pass on to us. Alternatively, they can pass it on for you.
If you are unsure if the toners you have are worth any money please contact Think Cartridges (see above). They do not collect toner bottles, Epson Cartrisges or previously recycled items.
Please note the following before starting your collection:
- The cartridges need to be originals (i.e. not recycled once already)
- Whilst we can take colour cartridges, we do receive more money for black ink cartridges so please try to collect as many of these as you can
- We cannot accept Epson cartridges for recycling
- We are unable to take away the bottles that come out of copiers/printers
- For your added convenience, if you use a lot of cartridges, the recycling companies we use can provide a container (a wheelie bin or a box) for you to collect them in.
We also work with a recycling company in Milton keynes called Reclaim IT so please contact us for further details if you are based in this area.
