Why should I join your team?
Every year, our dedicated runners raise vital funds to help us provide hospice care for local adults and children. Whether you are serious about running or a beginner determined to rise to the challenge, we want to hear from you.
Join our marathon team and you will receive ongoing support with both your training and fundraising efforts. We will provide:
- guidance on marathon training
- advice on how to raise your sponsorship funds and plenty of sponsor forms
- information on how to set-up a dedicated online fundraising page
- opportunities to meet other runners at our pre-marathon reception
- an online runners' message board, where you can chat with other team members in the build-up to the race
- a free running vest and t-shirt
How do I get a marathon place?
Unfortunately, the 2010 national ballot has now closed.
However, we do have a few gold bond places up for grabs.
