The big day has been and gone and once again a team of dedicated runners pounded the London streets to help raise money for our adult and children's hospices. Read on if you're interested in joining us next year!
Get ready for 2011
Virgin London marathon have made some changes to the public ballot system for 2011. In short, there will be two stages:
Priority registration invitation - Runners who entered the ballot in 2009 and 2010, and were rejected both times, have been given an opportunity to pre-enter the ballot via an email link, sent to them in the week commencing April 19th 2010. The opportunity to pre-enter remains open until April 30th.
Other applicants - The public ballot system will open to all other applicants on Tuesday May 4th 2010. This will close when 125,000 applications have been received.

Whether you are serious about running or a beginner determined to rise to the challenge, we would love to hear from you. Each year, we also have a number of gold bond places available, so if you're unlucky with the ballot there's still a chance to join our team.
