| Helping to provide the best level of care to our patients and their families carries a great deal of responsibility. It can be challenging and difficult at times but it can also be fun, inspiring and bring much in the way of personal satisfaction. Here are just some of the ways you can help us in this area of work: - Volunteer nursing in the In-patient Unit
- Giving general help in Day Hospice or the In-patient Unit
- Driving or escorting patients to and from Day Hospice
- Providing complementary therapies or personal care services to patients (where appropriate qualifications are held)
- Supporting the siblings of the children using our children's hospice
- Visiting family members to offer bereavement care (training & supervisory support is provided)
If you wish to volunteer in a role that helps with the direct care of our patients or their families you must be aged 21 or over. For more information, please contact: Tel: 01582 492339 Email: volunteering@keech.org.uk
