Keech Hospice at Home Volunteers
Hospice at Home Volunteers (Luton) was established in 1989 and has been working in the community providing a totally confidential service to clients and their carers ever since. It is now part of the Keech Hospice Care charity.
Hospice at Home Training
We are running a preparation course over 2 days for anyone wishing to become a volunteer and visit those with life-limiting illness in their own homes, or who are able to transport patients to use the day hospice facilities.
The course is running over 2 days at Keech Hospice Care on Thursday 10 March & Thursday 17 March from 9.15am to 3.15pm. Lunch will be provided.
The course is not academic but more about what you can and can't do as a volunteer in someone's home. Life skills, enthusiasm and a commitment of at least 3 hours a week is all that is required plus accessing relevant training.
