Volunteer lifeguards

Keech Hospice Care relies on volunteers to provide lifeguard cover so our patients and members of the community can use the hydrotherapy pool.

Recruitment is an on-going process. The lifeguard qualification lasts for two years so we are always on the lookout for new candidates.

We are looking for dedicated local people who can commit to 3 hours a week (morning or afternoon) to help provide this valuable service.

The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification courses take place during school holidays and in return for paying for the course we ask for 100 volunteer hours to be completed.

The NPLQ is recognised world-wide and can be used for future employment.

We also would like to hear from qualified lifeguards who can help.
