Joy and tears at the Light up a Life services

Over 730 people attended the Keech Hospice Care Light up a Life events over the past two weekends (November 27^th and December 4^th).

Mike Keel, CEO at Keech, commented on the poignant events, saying: 'Light up a Life is an opportunity for people to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us.

'We especially remember those who we have had the privilege to care for at the hospices.

'The presence of so many families and friends here for these events make it extra special for us.”

The event included carols, readings and short speeches by those who have benefitted from the Keech Hospice Care services.

Planning for special light up a life events in the hospice’s 21^st birthday year in 2012 has already started.
