A huge thank you to Charles Wells Brewery and The Embankment team from Bedford for their 2011 toy drive.
On Friday 9th December, thanks to their efforts, 2000 toys and a huge cheque for almost £15,000 was delivered to Keech Hospice Care on Friday.
This is the second year the Embankment team has done this for Keech. To date they have raised a whopping £26,000 for us as well as thousands of toys and presents for our children and families.
Jacqui Shepherd, director of fundraising at Keech, commented: 'Bedford businesses and individuals have been extremely generous and we couldn’t do the work we do without events such as the annual Embankment Toy Drive.'
'Thank you to everyone who donated a toy or money. It will make a big difference this year.'
