On Saturday 26th May, Keech Hospice Care is opening its doors and hosting a Vintage Tea Party to raise funds for the local charity.
The event, which has been put together by Friends of Keech Luton, starts at 11am and continues throughout the day until 5pm.
This stylish vintage tea party is packed full of traditional English cakes, scones and cream teas as well as a BBQ, a Bar selling the Keech 21st Birthday Beer, face painting, various stalls and a varied range of live entertainment. This event is one not to be missed.
Community fundraiser Sarah Jekins said: “We hope lots of people will drop by on Saturday to enjoy a cuppa and a cake and take the opportunity to help us raise funds for services vital to local people.”
At Keech Hospice Care, we offer specialist palliative care for adults and children suffering from a life-limiting illness. Our aim is to help patients enjoy the highest quality of life, while providing vital support for their family and friends throughout their loved one's illness and in their bereavement. Our support - medical, emotional or practical - is available to all who need it for as long as they wish. While many of the patients will have only a short life, they all still have plenty of living to do!
Please join us on the lawns behind the children’s unit to celebrate 21 years of the hospices service with the finest tea party Luton has ever seen. For only £1 per adult & 50p a child you can gain entry to this prestigious event where even the sun promises to shine!
