During the five weeks between the Thruxton and Oulton Park rounds of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, Team ES Racing have been busy working with charities including Keech Hospice Care to give them the unique opportunity of free promotion on Chris James’ Chevrolet Lacetti.
Driver/team principal James, said: "Charities, especially smaller ones do not have the funds to promote themselves and raise their awareness as much as they would like. The British Touring Car Championship is seen by 14 million people on ITV4 over the season and what better way to draw attention to their good cause than by displaying them on the side of a Touring Car"
With the team entering the series and proving themselves before seeking sponsorship they were in the ideal position to give charities this opportunity. "As we are in the process of seeking sponsorship we are in a privileged position to be able to offer our car to these Charities at no cost to them" explained James.
"All we can hope is that by using the Lacetti as an advertising platform that each and every charity we display is remembered by trackside spectators and ITV4 viewers and that it goes a small way in helping to support them in doing the fantastic work they are already doing." he added.
