Lombard staff volunteer a hand to makeover Keech Hospice Care
8 July 2011
A team from the asset finance provider Lombard, recently spent a day at the hospice helping to paint some offices and refurbishing our gardens.
During their time at the hospice the Lombard staff who travelled from around the country for the day repainted two offices, relocated a pool table to the newly extended recreational room and tided up the outside grounds.
Simon Lort, relationship manager from Lombard who helped with the organisation of the day said: 'The day itself was hard work but was also very rewarding. The hospice undertakes very valued work and we hope that our small contribution will in some way add benefit to the residents and also to the staff who put in so much hard work and effort in providing the care and the services that they do.'
Mike Keel, chief executive of Keech Hospice Care added: 'I visited the team on the day to personally thank them for their time. We rely on volunteers such as Simon and his colleagues to help us in our desire to provide the best care we can for our residents and their efforts will make a valued difference to both staff and residents alike.'
