On Tuesday our first shop in Leagrave opened its doors to help raise much needed funds for our adult and children’s hospices.
The shop, located at 174 Marsh Road, Luton and managed by Lesley Debnam, was opened by day hospice patient, Sue Morgan, and was busy throughout the opening day, with shoppers snapping up bargains on clothes, bric-a-brac and household items.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with all
profits supporting our adult and children’s hospice. Keech Hospice Care’s Head of Retail, Philip Kojcinovic, said: ‘It was brilliant to see such great public support on our first day of opening but we are still in desperate need of donations for all our shops. Any donations can now be gift aided using the forms in the shops which means that Keech will receive an extra twenty-five per cent.’
If you have any good quality clothing, bric-a-brac, furniture,
household items and other desirable goods you no longer need, donations can be delivered inside the shop during opening hours. Upon request, the shop will happily organise a home collection for any large donations.
To arrange a collection, please contact the shop on 01582 494837.
