Sarecens' stars open Harpenden shop

Saracens' rugby stars, Andy Farrell and Justin Marshall, cut the official ribbon at the grand opening of our children's hospice shop in Harpenden.

The shop, which is located on Bowers Parade on Harpenden High Street, had local shoppers coming in their droves throughout the day, snapping up bargains on clothes, bric-a-brac and household items.

Keech Ambassador, Andy Farrell, lives in Harpenden with his wife and children, who he brought along to the opening alongside former All Black star, Justin Marshall, to help open the shop.

Andy, who has recently retired from professional rugby and is now a coach for the Saracens, said at the opening:

“As an Ambassador of the charity, to have a Keech hospice shop opening in my town is fantastic. I hope everyone will show their support for Keech and the special children it cares for. I will definitely be popping in to see how it is getting on. It is in a great location and is a lovely big shop – I’m sure it will be a massive success!”
