Keech unveils new strategy

3 March 2011

Keech Hospice Care is approaching its 20th anniversary. It is the principal provider of palliative care services to adults in Luton and South Bedfordshire and to children in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.

Over the last twenty years, the environment in which the charity works and the types of people that it supports have changed (e.g. more diverse population; different medical conditions; increased regulation). Coupled with the reforms underway in health and social care, it is timely the charity is reviewing its strategic direction at the start of 2011.

As part of the strategic review process, the charity needs to ensure its core purpose remains valid; its beneficiaries are getting the most from the charity; and the organisation is financially secure and well run.
