Superstore opens in Stopsley

High quality furnitureOur superstore in Stopsley opened its doors to droves of shoppers in January. Many queued throughout the morning to pick up some fantastic bargains.

The shop was opened by dedicated volunteer, Frank Hamel. It specialises in high quality furniture as well as clothes, books, bric-a-brac and toys.

Shop Manager, Suzanne Lancaster, said: “This is the biggest unit Keech has and we've only had four weeks to get it ready for today. Our volunteers have Frank Hamel cut the official ribbonbeen so amazing and we can't believe how long the queue was outside the shop this morning! In the first hour we took £1,760 - local support has been phenomenal!"

Located underneath Jansel House on Hitchin Road, the shop will operate alongside the existing Stopsley shop, which is now trading as a discount shop, selling clothes, books and bric-a-brac at very cheap prices.

We are now Suzanne with volunteersappealing for donations of high quality furniture and other goods to keep the shop trading for our hospices. Donations can be made inside the shop during opening hours. Upon request, the shop will happily organise a home collection for any large donations. Please call the shop on 01582 732803.
