| Helping to provide the best level of care to our patients and their families carries a great deal of responsibility. It can be challenging and difficult at times but it can also be fun, inspiring and bring much in the way of personal satisfaction. Here are just some of the ways you can help us in this area of work: - Giving general support in the Palliative Care Centre and In-patient Unit
- Driving or escorting patients to and from the Palliative Care Centre
- Providing complementary therapies to patients (where appropriate qualifications are held)
- Supporting the siblings of the children using our children's hospice
- Visiting family members to offer bereavement care (training & supervisory support is provided)
