Adam Frost visits hospice garden volunteers

Celebrity landscape designer Adam Frost taught some keen gardeners a thing or two when he visited Keech Hospice Care in Luton this month.

Adam, who is a presenter on BBC One’s Gardener’s World, visited the charity and gave its team of volunteer gardeners advice on how to care for the trees and plants in its new Courtyard Garden.

Liz Searle, Chief Executive Officer at Keech Hospice Care, said Adam’s visit to the charity, which cares for seriously ill adults in Luton and Bedfordshire and children in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, was greatly appreciated.

“Our dedicated volunteers are essential to making sure our gardens provide beautiful and welcoming spaces for our patients who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses, and their families. It was a treat for them to meet Adam and receive advice from an expert,” said Liz.

The garden was officially opened by Adam Frost in July this year after he transformed it from a drab concrete yard into a colourful paradise.
