Children's Hospice Week
Help us help more and #UpTheVolume to raise money for seriously ill children.
This Children's Hospice Week we need you to #UpTheVolume to help us help more children with life-limiting and terminal illnesses.
As a charity, we rely on our local community and supporters for 70% of our funding. This means we need to raise over £5.6 million every year – that’s over £15,000 a day - to continue helping our patients and their families. We’re enormously grateful for whatever you can do or give. So, how will you #UpTheVolume for Children’s Hospice Week?
Here are some ideas:
- Turn #UpTheVolume with a Karaoke competition
- Volumise your hair with a loud hair day
- Noisy 9-5 at work
- Have a colourful cake sale
- Amp up your outfit with neon colours – go loud and give
- Pay to play – download the Children’s Hospice Week music quiz to find out who’s top of the pops
- Make your own 3D megaphone to #UpTheVolume
Get involved now! If you have any questions about fundraising please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01582707940.
Imagine being told that you must keep your toddler in the house, away from other people, for a whole year in case he catches a cold or other infection. What do you do all day, every day? How would you cope? Read Jacob's story to see how Jennie, our play specialist, changed his world.
The cost of our care
Keech Hospice Care is the children’s hospice for Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes. We believe that no-one should have to face a terminal or life-limiting illness alone, which is why our work goes beyond the doors of the hospice itself. Every day, our community nurses visit streets near you, supporting seriously ill children and their families in hospitals, in schools or in their own homes.
