Complementary therapy

What is complementary therapy?

From time to time, you and your child might experience feelings of anxiety, sleeplessness and pain – complementary therapy can help.

It can reduce pain, feelings of low mood and sickness, tiredness and poor appetite. Many people tell us they have a better night’s sleep after a treatment, and feel less anxious. It can also be used as part of symptom control, too.

These services are particularly appropriate for children with complex health needs and are offered at the hospice or in the child’s home.
